IS BROW LAMINATION SUITABLE FOR ME?

Brow lamination works best for clients that already have existing eyebrow hair as we work by lifting the brow hairs and creating a fluffier look by laminating the hairs in the position we want to achieve

 

HOW LONG DOES A BROW LAMINATION TREATMENT TAKE?

Brow lamination takes anywhere from 45 minutes to over 1h

Following your treatment, the results should last for up to 5 weeks if the aftercare is followed

Yes, brow lamination completely is safe when clients follow the proper pre and post care

 
 

Aftercare

EYEBROW LAMINATION aftercare

avoid using any exfoliants, retinoids, AHAs, BHA’s and/or any products that are stripping or anti-aging. You also cannot get brow lamination while on any acne medication (such as Accutane/Isotretinoin) or topical facial creams that are targeting acne before your brow lamination appointment. You also don't want to wax, thread or tweeze at least a week before your appointment.

If you have any of the following medical condition, you are not a candidate for Lamination:

  • Herpes simplex (active sore on or around area)

  • Psoriasis/Eczema 

  • ​Alopecia  

  • Recent eye surgery 

  • ​Fresh Permanent makeup

  • ​irritation/abrasions/inflammation in or around the brow area

  • Hemophilia

  • Ongoing cancer treatments

  • ​Sunburn in or around the brow area

  • Conjunctivitism

  • Medications: blood thinning, antibiotics (2 weeks), Accutane (within the last 12 months)

 

EYEBROW LAMINATION Post care

For 48 hours following the application:

  • No water can come in contact with the eyebrow area. This agreement will remain in effect for this procedure and all future procedures conducted by my technician.

  • Do not apply makeup to the brow area.

  • Avoid saunas, excess steam (in shower), and sweating excessively

  • After 24h period, eyebrows should be brushed upward into place after showers or skincare

  • It is normal for brows to feel dry following the procedure. If this occurs, apply a small amount conditioner to the brows when showering. If especially dry, apply coconut or castor oil with a cotton swab before bed.
